About Whitney

Whitney Clancey is a trusted real estate advisor who, as a longtime Charlotte resident with an extensive community network, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to both her home buyers and sellers. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Finance and worked in the mortgage industry for eight years before leaving to focus on family. Whitney then taught preschool as a way of meeting other moms and staying part of a team. During this time, she became involved in the Charlotte community through the PTA, ultimately serving as Treasurer and President. Her previous work and volunteering experience coupled with her years in real estate, has given her a distinctive edge to effectively serve her client's best interests with smart business strategies, creative marketing, and skillful negotiations.

Whitney has called Charlotte home since 1996. With its great blend of amenities, relative affordability, and temperate climate, this area has been the perfect place for her and her husband to have an active lifestyle and raise their three children. In her spare time, Whitney enjoys spending time with her family, going to the NC mountains, hiking, traveling, and gardening.
